sK Address Check shows shoppers a clear message at checkout when the delivery address has a format problem that would cause trouble on a shipping label: a missing house number, a line that is too long, characters the carrier can't print, or a missing or malformed phone number. This policy explains what the app stores, what it reads, and what it never touches.
Your checks run as a Shopify Function inside Shopify's checkout. The Function receives the delivery address from Shopify, checks its format against the checks you turned on and returns a message if something needs fixing. Addresses are never sent to our servers and never stored by us. The Function makes no network calls.
Your store domain, access token and settings are held in a Postgres database hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt region). Data is transmitted over TLS.
Your access token is deleted immediately when you uninstall the app. Your store record and settings are deleted when Shopify sends the shop/redact request, which happens 48 hours after uninstall.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we store, we will update the date at the top of this page.
